I'd Rather Have Jesus

Is anyone else feeling it?

The sense that things are just falling off. I don't know how else to describe what I'm feeling - except that things are just falling off of my life.

Every morning I wake up and my desires have changed again. Even something that appears insignificant, such as me having a smoothing for breakfast instead of eggs and bacon, or the random desire to have one less coffee per day (definitely supernatural!). Something is happening.

I know that I'm not the only one. I'm seeing it across the globe in my many different Jesus-loving circles. People are supernaturally awakening to the fact that all they really want is JESUS. The Lord spoke to me at the beginning of 2020 and I released a prophetic word about this. I love getting to see it in action!

Here's a snippet:

"1 Peter 4:7-8, "The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins."

I believe that the end of 2019 was a time of consecration for much of the Body of Christ. As the prophets continue to disregard the things that have wrongly defined them, and begin to partner with their true destinies and run in their own lanes, they will operate in new frequencies of Heaven that are greater than they ever imagined. I saw, too, that as people begin to subtract things from their everyday lives which has kept them from the fullness of hearing His heartbeat, their prophetic intercession will go to new heights...."

I'm excited to be able to see and hear Him more clearly so that I can declare what He is doing upon the Earth. But more than anything - I JUST WANT JESUS. He is my desire, and I'd rather have Him than anything else. If that means adding or subtracting things from my everyday life, than so be it. JESUS is my reality, after all.

A few random highlights from my week:

  • Chris and Emma are friends of ours that we FINALLY got to hang out with for the first time since we moved to Brisbane (going on 8 months now). We hung with them Monday this week. We ate Indian food, had a cheese board, laughed (heaps), and shared cool stories about God moving in crazy, supernatural ways. Here's a big deal if you know me: We didn't get home until nearly 1am! That's right, I must have seriously been enjoying myself to not even notice that I was missing my usual 9:45pm bed time. LOVE friends like this!

  • For weeks now I've felt a strong pull to fly to Adelaide and attend a service at Field of Dreams. I have a few close friends down there, and Carston (my husband) was releasing me to go, but I was waiting for the "go ahead" from Holy Spirit. I got that "go ahead" on Tuesday this week, and paid $333.33 for my flights. My friend owes me $300, so really I'm paying $33.33 to go to Adelaide on a crazy adventure with Jesus :-)

  • If you follow my Facebook page, Outrageous Hope, then you may know that I am facilitating an online course on basic intercession. I have 27 people registered, and in just the first week have had a number of wild testimonies that are occurring during the activations. YAY JESUS!

  • friend and I ate KFC at Kangaroo Point the other day. I NEVER eat fast food, but we decided on a whim. I ate a few pieces of spicy chicken.........AND IT TASTED LIKE OLD SCHOOL POPEYES!!! Only those from Louisiana would understand my excitement. I was so thrilled I even dreamed about sharing a fried chicken dinner with Jesus last night. I won't be eating it again any time soon, but it was SUCH a blessing for this slightly Louisiana homesick girl.

Ok....Enough randomness from me. Praying you have a beautiful weekend, and that Jesus invades your world in new, fresh ways. Praying that we all allow Him to let things just fall off our lives, and that we don't hold back our Praise as He is SO worthy.

Be blessed,

Mandy xoxo
