Before I share this encounter, I ask that you read this with awe and the fear of the Lord. I pray that He would give you eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
14th January, 2024 – Prophetic Encounter
During worship at my Sunday morning Church service, I had an intense encounter/vision that had me emotional for the hours and the day following the service.
In the vision, King Jesus was high and exalted, far above the Earth, standing in a heavenly realm. He was radiant, eyes of fire and His face was glowing, much like how He is described in the book of Revelation. Though I saw Him so clearly, I was still sensing my physical self in the Church service, and I could feel those around me who were hungry and desperate for Him alone. As we began to turn our affection more and more toward Him, we all, who were hungry, made a choice to fix our eyes firmly upon His. I could feel this collective choice in my bones – we wanted Jesus and nothing else mattered.
I then saw that I, and those around me who were making this choice, were being somehow sucked UPWARD and into Jesus’s heart. There are sometimes no words for these supernatural encounters that we have in the Spirit; so please forgive my inability to articulate appropriately what I was seeing and feeling. The best that I can do is relay that it felt like my Spirit and my Soul woman were being lifted upwards and physically OUT OF my flesh body, and I was being consumed into a greater level of Oneness with Jesus in a higher realm.
This was also happening to several of the desperate ones around me who were choosing Jesus above EVERYTHING else. I looked around, still in the encounter, and saw all of the flesh bodies of the people who had chosen to go up and into Jesus, and I heard the Holy Spirit say the words “death and decay.” I knew that by choosing to let go, we had chosen LIFE; the better way.
Soon the encounter changed and I saw a vision of what looked like oil and water. Oil and water are fully insoluble in one other, thus they split into two distinct layers, with oil being on the top. There is nothing in between. There is no middle ground. And this is what I saw.
I saw that those who had chosen to allow themselves to be swallowed up fully by Jesus were like the oil, and the ones who had made the choice to stay in their flesh were at the bottom, like the water. These had unknowingly chosen death and decay. And as I looked at the bottom layer, it turned from pure water to murky, dirty, contaminated water that felt more like sludge than water. Death and decay were exposed as dirty and polluted, and I saw it for what it was.
For another few seconds, it was like my eyes had a new lens on them, and I could see into another realm that was originally hidden from my sight. I saw that at the very bottom of that top oil layer, there were hoards of angels forming a thin "net" of sorts. They were at the bottom of the oil, but not quite touching the dirty water, and they had their hands out, urgently trying to pull people from the murky water up into the higher, oily places with Jesus!
What I saw rocked me to the core, as people either chose NOT to ascend with the angels, OR, they were stuck so deeply in the muck of their flesh that they found it incredibly difficult, if not nearly impossible, to leave the bottom layer despite their efforts in the natural.
What shakes me most is the fact that these were all CHRISTIANS in my encounter, they were not unbelievers. They were those who refused to leave their carnality and find themselves lost in Jesus, those who chose not to embrace their identity in Christ, or those who had become lazy in their walk of faith. Some of them were not prepared, did not know how to find help in the Holy Spirit or in the Word of God, and thus they were too weak to leave the murky bottom layer, even with angelic assistance.
Once the lens changed back, I heard the voice of the Lord say again, “There is no grace any longer for the middle ground.” This particular phrase was later confirmed, nearly word-for-word, by one of our senior pastors who also heard the same thing for 2024!
He then reminded me that 2024 is also a LEAP YEAR. It’s a year with 24 extra hours of sunlight. I felt His loving heart of mercy and compassion, as I realized that He is giving us extra time to make the RIGHT CHOICE.
Though the grace for the lukewarm life has lifted, He is still passionately pursuing his people and giving them extra help to pull themselves out of the contaminated, polluted death and decay of the carnal world.
As I was coming out of this encounter, I felt the fear of the Lord so strongly. I began to see WHY the prophets (including myself) have been speaking like a broken record “ascension” and “intimacy” and “consecration.” Why the Lord has had me talking for years now about my "meadow." I’m not sure how long this leap year season of mercy will last, but we MUST be ready. We MUST get our inner worlds in order. We MUST find our desperation, and therefore find our everything in Jesus.
Jesus is THE way. THE truth. THE life. Everything else is death and decay. We MUST choose Him.

Revelation 3:15-16 - “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
Joshua 24:15, 21-24 – “…choose this day whom you will serve…” And the people said to Joshua, “No, but we will serve the Lord!” So Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the Lord for yourselves, to serve Him.” And they said, “We are witnesses!” “Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.” And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”
Matthew 24:42 - Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
2 Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
1 Kings 18:21 - Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him a word.
Psalm 145:8-10 - The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your saints shall bless you!
Joel 2:13 - And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.
I would urge you to speak to the Lord about what this means for your own life, and those that you love. Even as I type this, my hands are shaking and I can feel the weight of His mercy.
