From My Jesus Time This Morning

The Lord once told me that I am a daughter [of Heaven] BEFORE I am a warrior. I need to remind myself again: I'm a daughter before I'm a warrior. I'm a daughter before I am anything else. A much-loved daughter with a very GOOD Father. Ephesians says that I am seated in Heavenly places, with Christ (2:6). I sit with Him in places of complete victory. I am a daughter, not an orphan. I don't have to be always on the defensive, doing everything I can on my own to ensure a good outcome - just like Fathers of old, God fights for me. SOMEONE FIGHTS FOR ME, I am worth it to Him. I can just REST in His delight of me. I can just ENJOY the light of His face as a child enjoys the affection of her Daddy. I'm not a servant depending upon a master; I'm a daughter whose Daddy is bigger than any power or thing that may come her way. And He's a far better Daddy than even the BEST Dad on earth. I can take a deep breath and sink into His love today, knowing that He is FOR ME and I have no need to fear or weary myself in battle. May you be blessed as you rest from your strife and lean against the Father's chest today. Find His heartbeat - relax to the rhythm of rest. He delights in YOU. I pray you see the light of His face and you feel His delight. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31‭-‬39 ESV
